The
painting shown here is of Barnby Dun's church St. Peter and St.
Paul, chiefly14th Century with a tower at the West end, a porch
on the South side, a nave and a chancel.
It was painted by John Bird, a Doncaster born artist, who as well as painting many scenes of his home town and county of Yorkshire has travelled all over Britain increasing his town portfolio. John paints for English Heritage, The English Tourist Board, The National Trust and the Wild Life Trust. A piece of his work was presented to the Governor of Hong Kong. Each print is signed and titled personally by John. |
